#19: Durian Pengat

All durian lovers you are gonna love this! Durian Pengat is a Nyonya dessert (as I have mentioned, its nyonya craze this week guys!) that uses durian, coconut sugar and coconut milk for its flavour. I really love how these two fruits come together and give such an aromatic fragance. I am a total durian freak and I love coconut too so this naturally became one of my favourite dessert after I tasted it.

The dessert consist of coconut milk, gula melaka (coconut sugar), durian puree, durian pulp and fresh whole milk. The steps are rather easy but the results are good. However, due to the richness of it, it is advisable to serve them in shot glasses.

Note: Excessive amounts of it will make people feel that its disgusting. Small amounts of it taste the best!
